A Front Garden in Saltdean

We had carried out work on the back garden for these clients 5 years ago and were back to transform their front garden.  It was typical of thousands of front gardens all around Britain – full of old or dying shrubs, a patchy piece of grass and a drab path.  It really didn’t do anything to enhance their home.

The Story

We started by clearing out all of the shrubs and taking up the existing path so that it was a blank canvas ready to be transformed.  We then set to work putting in a new limestone path and a sleeper edging to create a framework outline for the garden with raised planters incorporated in to the design.

A major part of the garden was a curved timber wall with planting in front to add interest and height to the garden.  Once these had been built all that remained to do was lay a new turf lawn.

The garden has been transformed and now complements the house instead of dragging it down.  We appreciate that it can seem daunting having your garden landscaped but it is always money well spent because not only will it bring great pleasure for years to come, it also adds value to your house.

This is what our clients said.

“Once again we would like to thank you for the wonderful garden design. It has enhanced the front garden tremendously. We are still getting loads of comments from our neighbours about how beautiful the garden is. As always my neighbours are extremely impressed with your skill, craftsmanship and dedication to your work ethic. Every day my neighbours would take notice of how you were progressing in the project, and it seems that you are quite famous in our road!”
