A Deck, a Jetty and a Pond in Buxted
This was a very enjoyable but tricky project. Coming up with the design and building the deck was fun, but Rob nearly fell in a few times whilst making the jetty! Luckily the result looks brilliant and so it was worth it.
The Story
The ground has been dug out, the frame for the deck built and the posts set in concrete ready for the decking to go down the next day.
The addition of the wrap around deck made it a much more interesting design and helped to blend it in to the bank.

The finished deck completed by a hammock for those lazy summer afternoons. We also built a bank behind the deck and planted it up to give our clients greater privacy.
They have now got a brilliant spot from which to admire the view and catch some rays, and maybe even the odd fish too. Their intention is to plant up around the deck to blend it in further, but quite honestly I think they’ll be too busy chilling out in the hammock to get round to it.
